Twitter recently declared Laycon ‘the King of AfroRap’. They linked the GOAT emoji to Laycon’s hashtag, and the emoji displays on the trend table anytime he is trending.

Laycon’s fans ICONs came to the Bluebird app to praise Laycon and also to attack people who failed to recognize Laycon’s efforts when he was awarded by BBN.

We have no answer yet as to how Twitter ranks people, but there are few methods we could think of.  Their ranking could be based on how much people play a particular artiste’s music, amounts of favouring reviews by fans or immediate past awards. Whatever is the case, the young man has a high international recognition now; this could open him doors to greater heights.
